What is OCTO?
OCTO (Open Connectivity for Tours, Activities, and Attractions) is an industry standard designed to simplify integrations between platforms, resellers, and suppliers within the experiences sector.
OCTO defines a set of Core Endpoints that are mandatory for most use cases. These include:
Supplier: Retrieve supplier information.
Products: List products or fetch a specific product.
Availability: Check availability and create calendar overviews.
Bookings: Create, confirm, update, or cancel bookings.
Beyond the Core API, there are optional Capabilities that provide additional functionality. BookSpot currently supports Pricing and Content capabilities.

How to Integrate with OCTO
Go to Settings > Integrations, then click on OCTO.
Click on “Create new token”.
Select the capability you want your token to have.
Confirm by clicking “Create token”.
⚠️ Important! The token is displayed only once after it has been created. Make sure to store it in a secure location where you can retrieve it later. Without this key, the integration will not work.
