Learn how to schedule resources!

This article is about resource management. Read the article on resources before scheduling them!

In this article, we will cover how to:

  • Activate scheduling for resources

  • Schedule your resources

  • View your schedule

If you are using resources, it might be useful to know how to schedule them. When you schedule resources, you inform the system when individual resources are available for bookings.

This can be practical if, for example, you have specific guides working according to a certain schedule or a vehicle used for your products/activities that is only available on certain days. If you do not activate scheduling, the resource will always be available, which can be useful if the resource is, for example, a room that should always be bookable.

Activate Scheduling

To schedule a resource, you first need to activate scheduling for the resource.

  1. Go to Products > Resources and find the resource you want to schedule.

  2. Click on the pencil icon next to the resource to access the resource's settings.

  3. Activate "Has scheduled availability."

  4. Save!

Schedule Your Resources

The next step is to schedule the resources.

  1. Click on the calendar icon next to the resource you want to schedule.

  2. Click on "+ New Schedule."

  3. Choose whether the resource will work all day, meaning the entire opening hours of the facility, or work specific hours.

  4. Select the period that the schedule will cover.

  5. Save!

Note! If you have activated scheduling for a resource but have not scheduled the resource, it will always be unavailable and therefore cannot be booked.

View Your Schedule

Under the Resources tab, you will also find the schedule you have created. Here you get a quick and easy overview of who or what is scheduled and when!

By scheduling your resources, it becomes easier for you and your staff to plan the operation! πŸ™Œ
