Learn how to set your own 'Advertised price'

You can now set your own "advertised price" that will be visible in the product view when your customers make a booking.

Usually, this setting is not necessary as prices are prioritised in the order that the product's price categories are listed. That means the lowest price for a product will be shown to the customer in the product view if that price category is at the top of the list.

However, sometimes it can be useful to display a different price in the product view than the actual prices listed in the price categories. For example, if you run a snowmobile rental service and charge per snowmobile, but you want the price per person to be shown in the product view.

In these cases, you can use "Customise 'Advertised price". You can find this setting under Product Settings > Prices > Other Price Settings.

This is how it will look in the product view:

The price you specified in the price categories will be visible when the customer clicks through from the product view to the product.

By customising the products' 'Advertised price', you can present your products to your customers according to your needs 🌟
