Learn How to Read the Monthly View

The monthly view provides a great overview of how many and how spread out your bookings are. You can use it to navigate through bookings and also to get an overview of how booked your facility is.

Tip! If you have more than about 30 bookings per day, it might be easier to use the booking manifest to handle check-ins and check-outs of customers/bookings.


Features of the Monthly View

Bookings

Each time slot in the monthly view, a "calendar event," is a booking and can include several different products. In the upper left corner of each date box, you can see how many main products are booked for the day. For example, on the 10th of June, there are 3 bookings with a total of 5 booked products.

Next to each booking, there is a status marker that indicates the following:

  • Red: The booking has not been paid.

  • Green: The booking is complete, it is paid, and marked as finished.

  • Gray: The booking has not been marked as finished. If the booking is also unpaid, it will appear red instead of gray.

Psst, you can access the booking details by clicking on the calendar events.

Bookings Over Multiple Days

When a marker spans multiple days, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the booking covers the entire period. It could also mean that a booking includes several products scheduled for different dates, with the length of the calendar event stretching from the earliest start time to the end of the last.

Example: A kayak is booked on June 3rd from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. In the same booking, a SUP is booked for the next day from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The calendar event will then span from June 3rd to 1:00 PM on June 4th.

Changing Settings for the Monthly View

Customize the appearance of your monthly view to match your needs! Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the calendar.

Here you can:

  • Choose to switch to the product view.

  • Change the number of calendar events shown at once per day.

  • Change the labels for your calendar events. For example, you can show the phone number instead of the name.

  • Choose to group calendar events. A booking with multiple bookings will be displayed as a single event.
