Import your bookings from BookSpot into Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar or Apple iCal.

How to Import Your Bookings to Your Calendar

You can quickly and easily import your bookings into your Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Apple iCal, or any other calendar that supports the iCal format.

The calendar will display all booked products for the past 7 days and the upcoming 60 days. The calendar cannot be edited.

Follow these steps in BookSpot to connect an external calendar

Step-by-step

  1. Go to Settings in the left menu → Bookings → Export Booking Calendar.

  2. Click the link in the grey box to copy it. You will need this link in the next step.

  3. Depending on which calendar you would like to connect (Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar or Apple iCal), go to the relevant section below and follow the instructions for that calendar.

Import Your Bookings to Google Calendar

Log in to your Google account on a computer and go to your Google Calendar.

  1. In BookSpot, go to Settings > Bookings > Export Booking Calendar.

  2. Copy the link in the gray box.

  3. In the left menu of your Google Calendar, click on the "+"-symbol next to "Other Calendars".

  4. Click "From URL".

  5. Paste the link from BookSpot and click "Add Calendar".

You will then find it under "Other Calendars" in the left menu of your Google Calendar.

Import Your Bookings to Outlook Calendar

Log in to Outlook.com on a computer and go to your calendar.

  1. In BookSpot, go to Settings > Bookings > Export Booking Calendar.

  2. Copy the link in the gray box.

  3. In the left menu of your calendar on Outlook.com, click "Add Calendar".

  4. Click "Subscribe from web" and then paste the link from BookSpot. You can also name the calendar and give it a symbol to distinguish the different calendars.

  5. Click on "Import".

You will then find your BookSpot calendar under "Other Calendars" in the left menu of your Outlook calendar.

Import Your Bookings to Apple iCal

In Mobile App

  1. In your Apple iCal calendar, click on "Calendar" at the bottom of the screen and then "Add Calendar" > "Add Subscribed Calendar".

  2. Paste the iCal link that you copied from BookSpot and then click "Subscribe".

  3. Adjust settings according to your preference and then click "Add".

On Desktop

  1. In the Calendar app on your computer, choose File > New Calendar Subscription.

  2. Enter the calendar's web address and click "Subscribe".

  3. Adjust settings according to your preference and then click "OK".

Which calendars can I import my bookings into?

You can import your BookSpot bookings into; Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar or Apple iCal.

What date range is shown in the imported calendar?

The imported calendar displays your current and upcoming bookings from BookSpot.

Can I edit bookings directly in the imported calendar?

No. The imported calendar is read-only. Any changes to bookings must be made in BookSpot.

How long does it take for bookings to appear in the imported calendar?

This depends on the calendar provider. Updates are usually synced automatically, but the refresh interval varies between Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar and Apple iCal.

Can I add the calendar from my mobile device?

For Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar, you can only add and subscribe to the calendar from a computer. For Apple iCal, you can also subscribe directly through the mobile app.
