In the Overview tab, you can quickly get an overview of your best-selling products, see the value of completed bookings, and compare sales over a specific period with other periods.
You can choose whether you want to display the numbers including or excluding VAT, which period you want to view, and which period you want to compare with. By default, it shows the past week compared to the previous week.
Booking value over time
Here you can see the revenue from your bookings during the selected period. There are two ways to view the booking value: (1) when the booking takes place, or (2) when the booking was created.
Key Terms:
Booking Value: The total value of bookings that have taken place or been created in BookSpot, regardless of whether they are marked as paid or not.
Booked Products: The total number of products booked within your bookings. Please note that this does not necessarily correspond to the number of participants.
Payments: The total sum of registered payments (both online and offline) during the selected period.
Voucher Codes & Gift Cards: The total sales of value codes and gift cards during the specified period.
Compare to Previous Time Periods
By selecting a "compare to" date, you can see how your sales and completed bookings have changed over time. In the example above, July 2024 is compared with June 2024. July's booking values are shown in purple, and June's in dashed orange in the graph.
Filter by Product or Product Category
By clicking “Filter” in the top right corner, you can choose to view the overview for a specific product or product category only.
