Learn How to Use the "Allow Booking After Start Time" Setting

The "Allow Booking After Start Time" function is one of the features that determine how a product can be booked.

The setting is found under Products & Experiences > [Selected Product] > Availability > Booking Rules.

If this setting is activated, customers can book a start time that has already begun. This can be useful for instances where a product, such as a full-day mountain bike rental or accommodation check-in, is available from a certain time, but the booking doesn’t necessarily need to start at that exact time.

If the start time is not particularly important, this setting is appropriate.

If "Allow Booking After Start Time" is active, the "Booking Lead Time" setting will not apply, because the lead time is intended to regulate how long before a start time a booking can be made, which in this case is not necessary.

This function is only available for customers to use for bookings on the current day. Customers cannot book activities that have already passed the previous day.

Note! This setting does not allow customers to book times that have already ended, such as booking at 12:30 for a 2-hour tour that started at 10:00.
