Learn how to use the "Hide 'Select quantity'" setting.
When making a booking in BookSpot, the process begins by selecting the number of products/participants you want to book. This filters the calendar to only show days and start times where the desired quantity is available. This way, you don’t have to click through dates to find a start time with enough availability.
After selecting the day and time, you then distribute the quantity among the product’s price categories.
By enabling "Hide 'Select Quantity'," the initial field that filters the calendar will be hidden. Instead, the quantity is only chosen after selecting the date and start time.
This function allows you to choose how your booking process should look.
Here you can see the difference between having "Select Quantity" visible (left) and having it hidden (right).
Note! This setting has no effect if the maximum capacity is 1, as "Select Quantity" is automatically hidden in that case.
The setting can be found under Products & Experiences > [Selected Product] > Availability > Booking Rules.
