Learn how to connec to GetYourGuide!
GetYourGuide is a marketplace for tour guides, activities, excursions, and much more. By connecting GetYourGuide to your products in BookSpot, the availability of your products will automatically synchronize with GetYourGuide, thereby avoiding double bookings. When a booking is made via GetYourGuide, it will be registered through BookSpot just like any other booking. Sounds convenient, doesn't it?

Before you start with the integration, you need to:
How to connect your products to GetYourGuide
You can find all Integration settings under Settings > Integrations. Click on GetYourGuide.
Step 1: Connect price categories to GetYourGuide's customer types.
Customer types are GetYourGuide's equivalent to BookSpot's price categories. Here is what the price settings look like in GetYourGuide:
Customer type is what you then match with the product's price category in BookSpot to ensure the prices correspond. For example, if you have a price for adults and a price for children, you connect the adult price to ADULT and the child price to CHILD.

Step 2: Enter the correct product ID in GetYourGuide.
Each product created in BookSpot has a product ID. When you create the corresponding product in GetYourGuide, this is the ID you use to create the link between the products. You do this in GetYourGuide by entering the product ID from BookSpot under External product ID for the product you want to connect. Note! Different booking durations have different IDs. Choose the ID with the same booking duration as defined in GetYourGuide.
Tips: When transferring product IDs from BookSpot to GetYourGuide, you can copy them by clicking on them!
Step 3: Activate the GetYourGuide connection.
Finally, you need to activate the connection so GetYourGuide can fetch information about your products. You do this by clicking the "Activate" toggle. Your settings will then be saved, and the connection will be created.
Important to consider:
Only products with the Number of seats/places per product set to 1 can be connected.
Booking durations of the type "Days until closing" cannot be connected.
Only main products can be connected (i.e., no optional products can be connected to GetYourGuide).
Done! You have now connected to GetYourGuide ✅
If you change the structure of your products
When you change certain settings, these changes can cause issues with the linking between the products. If you want to change, remove, or add any of the following:
Price categories
Start times
Booking durations
...in a product linked to GetYourGuide, you should also make these changes in GetYourGuide to ensure the connection continues to work correctly.
