Sometimes it's necessary to send messages to customers about important changes or reminders before or after bookings. In that case, you may send emails or text messages to the customer directly from the booking page.

You can select whether to send one of your automatic messages as a template, or create your own. In the booking, you may also track what messages that have been sent to the customer and handle what automatic messages should be sent.

Send a message from the booking

By going to the booking and clicking "Send message", you'll be able to send an email or text message to your customer to notify them about important information or changes in the booking.

You can create your message from scratch or select a template from existing messages and adjust them accordingly. You may also decide if you want the message to be sent as an email or text.

There is a possibility to attach files (images and pdfs). Remember that the attached files can only be sent as emails.

When you have chosen the recipient of the message and previews it, click "send" and choose whether it should be sent immediately or be scheduled for later.

Track messages in bookings

It may sometimes be useful to see whether the customers has received and opened their automatic message, or which messages are scheduled to be sent.

This can all be tracked by going to Booking page > Payment > Message history.

In message history you'll find the coming messages that are automatic, that are scheduled to be sent to the customer as well as the messages the customer has received and how many times they have opened the email and/or text message.

If you click on the eye-icon to the left, you can view the message that has been/is scheduled to be sent.

By sending messages you'll be able to communicate effectively with your customers and keep track of which messages have been sent to the customer. πŸ™Œ
