Learn How to Set Up Your Booking Widget Settings

Note: Changes to the widget settings only affect the code in the "Widget script" text field, not the code you have on your website.

To allow customers to start booking your products independently, you have several options:

  1. Integrate the Booking Widget on Your Website (Recommended).

  2. Link from Your Website to the Booking Widget.

  3. Print a QR Code for the Widget.

These methods can be combined, for example, by having a QR code displayed at your facility and the widget on your website.

You can find the booking widget code and QR code link under Settings > Widget.

Integrate the Booking Widget on Your Website

Det här kan du göra:

  1. Modify the text on the button by changing the field "Book Button Text", or keep the default "Book Now".

  2. Decide whether the widget should include both products & vouchers, only products, or only vouchers.

  3. Choose whether the first view shuld be a product list or a calendar showing all products.

  4. Decide if the button should lead to booking all products or individual products by toggling "Show all products". If disabled, you must select which products should be visible in the dropdown list.

  5. Choose if the button should include all product categories and voucher, or not. If disabled, you need to selet which categories will be visible in the dropdown list.

  6. Enable or disable "Floating button". If active, the button will always be positioned at the bottom right of the browser and will follow the user when scrolling.

  7. Enable or disable "Automatic language detection". For this to work, the website’s code must include the HTML tag "lang". If the website language is set to English (lang="en"), the widget’s language will also be English.

  8. Add a tracking tag to identify the source of the booking. This will help you see which widget a specific booking was made from when viewing bookings and exporting manifests.

  9. Copy the code from the "Widget script" text field and integrate it into your site. Specific instructions for different platforms can be found below:

Note: Each time you open the widget tab, a new code is generated in the "Widget script" text field. The code is not saved, so if you make changes and navigate away from the page, you will need to set up the widget settings again.

When you need to update your script.

If You Don’t Show All Products: You may need to update the script when you create new products in the future.

  • If You Created a New Product Without a Category: It is a good idea to categorize your products to avoid updating the script every time you add a new product. If you create a new product under an existing product category, you won’t need to update the script.

  • If You Created a New Category: New products placed under a new category will not be visible until the script is updated.

  • If You Update Widget Settings: Each time you update the settings, the script will change and need to be integrated again for your changes to be visible.

Use the Direct Link

The direct link leads straight to the system with all products. For example, create a button on your website labeled "Book Now" that uses this link to start receiving bookings.

Use the QR Code

Right-click on the QR code and save the image. Print it out or use it on your digital platforms. The QR code leads to the booking system with all products.

Widget Settings

The widget settings affect only the code, not the widget on your website. You can customize the widget for your business or landing page with the following settings:

  • Products types to display: Choose to display only products, only vouchers, or both.

  • Pre-selected View: Choose whether customers book from a calendar view or by selecting products.

  • Show All Products: Select which products should appear in the widget.

  • View All Categories: Choose which product categories should be displayed in the widget.

  • Floating Button: With a floating button, the widget stays at the bottom right corner of the page even when scrolling.

  • Automatic Language recognition: Adjusts the widget's language based on the page language. Requires the HTML tag 'lang' on your page.

  • Tracking Tag: "Name" the widget to track which widget a specific booking originated from.

With the booking system widget integrated on your site, you enable customers to book 24/7! 🙌
