FAQ's

Can I use an Adyen terminal I already own?
No, unfortunately not. The terminal must be configured by us before it can be used, and it needs to be a specially adapted “BookSpot terminal” to work with the system.

What is the delivery time for new terminals?
Normally around 5 working days within Sweden.

Do I need a receipt printer?
No. You can choose a terminal without a printer and send digital receipts via BookSpot.

Are online and POS sales synced automatically?
Yes. All sales are collected in real time in your BookSpot account.

Do the terminals need to be connected to Wi-Fi?
No. They have SIM cards, but will respond faster with Wi-Fi and also save battery.

Can refunds be processed via POS?
Refunds are handled in the same way as online payments (booked via the widget). When processing a refund, you can print a receipt via the terminal if it has a printer, or send a digital receipt. Read how to process a refund here.

Is a daily closing required?
A daily closing is only required if you use a cash register. Read more about daily closing here.

The terminal is not working – what should we do?
If the terminal is not working, make sure it is charged and connected. Otherwise, please contact BookSpot support.
